Ede CDC mourns former Osun State CDC Chairman's death

The Ede North Community Development Council (CDC) has mourned the death of Alh. Isa   Abubakar, who served as both  the  former Chairman of Osun State Community Development Council (CDC)  and  former Chairman of Community Development Council (CDC) Ede North.

Alh. Isa   Abubakar died on Friday, September 9, 2026, and was buried the same day in accordance with Islamic rites.

Alh. Yisa Abubakar hailed from Odubitan Compound, Ede in Ede North Local Government.
He was an immediate past State CDC Chairman and Ede North CDC Chairman.

 He survived with wives and many successful children. He was a photographer. He lived in Northern part of Nigeria before he returned home. He could speak Hausa and Yoruba languages fluently.

His hobby was community service in which he influenced projects to his communities in Apaso Ward and Talafia Oke odo where he resided.

In a condolence message issued by Alh.Moshood Ademola Raji, the incumbent Chairman of Community Development Council (CDC) Ede North,  he prayed that God would grant the family  members of the Alh.Isa Abubakar  the strength to bear the loss.

"On behalf of all members of the Ede North CDC, we pray that Almighty Allah forgives all the shortcomings of our former Osun State and Ede North CDC Chairman, and grants him Al-Jannah Firdaus as his final abode. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un." Alh. Raji said
