PSN Kwara State elects Pharm. Munirat Akanbi-Bello as its first female chairman

The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Kwara State branch has elected Pharm. Munirat Akanbi-Bello as the first female chair PSN  in the state on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

 Pharm. Munirat Bello won the election with 76 votes and her opponents Pharm IK Bello got 59 votes while Pharm Ademola Durotoye had 48 votes. The election, held on Saturday in Ilorin,  Kwara State.

In her cogratulatory message, she commended her professional colleagues for their overwhelming support and trust and pledged to lead with integrity, transparency, inclusiveness and dedication.

“This victory is not mine alone; it is ours. It is a testament to our collective strength, unity and belief in a greater PSN-Kwara,” she said.

Pharm. Munirat Bello  is synonymous with Nature Betic Herbal Remedy, manufactured by Wamok Nig. Ltd (also associated with Wamok Pharmacy).
