Ogun Gov Facilitates Quality Livelihoods for Children with Disabilities

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has shown readiness to empower and support children with special disabilities in the state to create favorable learning conditions.

 Prince Dapo Abiodun pledged to provide free food and free accommodation for pupils in all the Five Special Needs Schools in Ogun State. 

 The State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, made this known recently during a sensitisation campaign on the enrolment of pupils into public primary schools. The event was held across markets and motor parks in Ijebu-Ode and Sagamu.

” It is profitable and desirable for parents to send their children to school, though at the initial stage, it may seem painful, but at the end, it becomes something of pride,’’ Arigbabu said

Prince Dapo Abiodun implored parents and other stakeholders in education to maximise the opportunities of the qualitative free education.
